El clima del Atlántico durante la Última Glaciación

Resumen

Según la hipótesis hasta ahora más aceptada el fin del Eemiense y comienzo de la Ultima Glaciación se inició cuando las nieves que caían durante el invierno en el norte de Canadá comenzaron a resistir el verano, sin licuarse del todo. En las regiones de Labrador y de la Tierra de Baffin, una pequeña bajada de las temperaturas veraniegas sería suficiente, aún hoy, para que la nieve sobre el suelo persistiese de un año a otro sin derretirse.
